Make sure you choose the Library Resources VPN during the log-in process. If you have not chosen the correct group, you will not be able to access Library materials despite your online status. The Library VPN is intended for access to electronic resources only. Per UC Davis Cyber Safety policies, service ports on the Library VPN have been restricted to web browsing and email only. Other Internet applications, such as FTP or SSH, to external services will not function until the Library VPN is disconnected. The default option is Split Tunnel. To access Library resources pick the Library Access and Full Tunnel option. Use the VPN client: Always choose the Library Access and Full Tunnel option.
